It is now Dec 31st and just 9 days until I leave for Berlin again. I think this will be an important stay, as was the last one. That aside, I hope 2007 will be a good year for all of those people I know and love. I think it will be a good year. Best to all.

How is it to be back? Whenever I get back to Germany after being in the US I make a mad rush to the nearest bakery and just take a few deep breaths. I haven't been to Berlin in a while, but miss Prenzlberg... am flying up there next week to visit friends and see my son (he has somehow ended up as Acting Musical Director of a new musical about martin luther king which is rehearsing in the Schillertheater at the moment)
